EA is dead to me
but they are not multipurpose processors... Linux is running off the main ppe not the spe's so your argument is still flawed
a core is a general processing element while an spu is a "symmetrical proccessing unit" these spu's are not cores, they are coprocessors which handle floating point and so are not referred to as cores.
simply.. a core is a processor that the entire OS (including applications and whatnot) could run on... the spu's cannot run an entire OS and and apps... so are not cores.
the only thing this game needs is someone standing there shouting "GOOOODDDZZZILLLLAAAA!!!! !"
this game just looks boring... nothing seems all the exciting... one battle took like 20 minutes.. ugh.. pass!
note: card games should be played with cards... not on a console
before dissing an entire company maybe you should check yourself... EB games/gamestop is a very loyal supporter of the sony platforms... this is why half of our inventory is sony and the most frequently bought console is the ps2 from our stores. However, when sony says one thing to us and then does another consistently enough, of course employees might get a little upset. But we are still gamers first and we recognize great games (FFXII, okami, gta series, GT series, AC, valk prof... etc) ...
movie producers will stop making bluray movies
lack of anti-aliasing... low res shadows... and a framerate that never hits 30 fps... makes for a miserable looking game... plus the cars don't feel like they have any speed and the controls are extremely loose... plus the collision detection is weak, you'll crash sometimes when you barely hit anything and then you'll go right into something and come out unscathed...
everyone at my work who has played this (we have a kiosk, finally, at our EB games) agrees that it is lackluster...
or do all ps3 videos seem "washed" out compared to their 360 counterparts... I just get the feeling that the 360 is doing better contrasts (particularly the night scene... you can hardly tell that its night time on the ps3)
a lie is when you know something is not true and say it anyway... a year ago they said that when they didn't know the firm release dates of either system... so, it was speculation that may turn out false, but certainly not a "lie"
A "lie" is saying that every ps3 will come with 7 USB ports and dual hdmi-out for 2 tvs...
how the graphics look 2 years from now... because sony has some very stiff competition now, and if exclusives jump ship because they can make more money on another console (larger install base) then the incentive for the ps3 drops and so does its market share.
So while the ps3 may look better in a few years... will that make people wait? will people look at the 360 now and the ps3 now and say... why am I paying 200 bucks more?? I know I did... that's why I have a 360
don't badmouth RARE.. viva pinata is an amazing game and is extremely addicting...
i predict that viva becomes one of the sleeper hits of the 360
i was a little scared the game would suck and be nothing but hype...
a movie/tv show is watched and deleted... a game is kept on the harddrive (if any good) and replayed a lot... you are comparing apples and oranges.. please stop
they have become the antithesis of japanese
does track your purchases so that you can download it as many times as you want (if accidently/purposely deleted)
as to how this is a good thing... i like my arcade downloads quick... and i really like simply being able to unlock my demos... these should not be long drawn out games with many many levels and branching story lines... just simple, fast, casual games... this is why i actually like the 50MB limit... keeps the games in the realm of pickup and play.
plus... more space "could" mean longer and more expensive development which would increase the price of the game...
i'm looking forward to getting up to a level that my garden expands again.... if you make a new garden with the same funds can you transfer over pinatas?
but then started playing viva pinata... god that games addicting
its also bad for movie companies... and their faith in bluray will begin to dwindle
